Well, on the front page of the Statesmen Journal today, I saw this picture.
This was after they were able to shove the truck over to one lane so people could at least get by on the narrow bridge. I'm not sure if that's exactly where the semi toppled or if it was dragged closer to the end of the bridge or not.
Weekend coming up.
weekend = yummy
Screw off.

Disaster follows me everywhere.
Today, there was a big storm and stuff, consisting mostly of a lot of fucking wind and some rain. Well, the power cut off during 1st hour at school.
"At this time, there is no word on if the students will be let out early. At this point, the safest thing is to stay here. Teachers, use your watches to tell the students when they should go to their next class."
So we herded ourselves around in close to pitch black hallways, going class to class, mainly doing nothing. After every class I had to run across the street through the yummy rain to get to the opposite building.
During English class, I could glance out the window and see the middle courtyard area full of shingles fallen from the roof. Water dripped down through the ceilings in the hallways, and fire alarms and buzzers went off sporatically.
Then, a few minutes before 4th period was over, power was restored. People booed, and teachers were ready to "work".
Power coming back was sorta good since it then meant that during lunch, we could actually go places to get food.
So, regardless of the fact that school was flowing with juicy power, by the time lunch was over, it seemed that the only people still at school were those who didn't have cars, yours truly included.
So anywho, I finished out the day, and luckily, I came home to a house with power. Out of habit I almost expected us to be the only house within miles that didn't have power.
I guess one of the main reasons that school was not called off was due to the fact that most people wouldn't be able to get home. It seems that a Semi-Truck had an accident and fell over on the Yaquina Bay Bridge, blocking both lanes. It's a shame I can't find a picture online yet of the accident. I'll be on the lookout.
In completly other news, I watched Shadow of the Vampire. I have wanted to see this movie and I'm glad I finally did. It had humor, it had blood, it had Eddie Izzard. What else do ya need?
There's some words for ya, now piss off.

Hah! I didn't let a week go by without posting!
I, enjoy posting on my website. It gives me something to do, and lets me say stuff. Blah Blah Blah. But I have nothing worth talking about really. However, I don't think I'm like Ninja in the fact that I'm gonna eat frolicking poor wittle kitties just because I haven't been posting.
Mm yeah. So, I took a template from the open source web design place Moon talked about, and I'm working with it for my website portfolio at school. That's fun. Hmm, that's really the highlight of my life currently.
Yeah, that's all ya get. I'm spent.
Um, this just in, it turns out my shit don't stink.
