I don't know if I realy have much to say, but I'll give it a go.

I read 8-bit theater's update today and he posted some links to stuff about Bush and various pictures. Funny (pictures) and informative (articles) stuff there. I really liked the article he linked to on Michael Moore's site. I suggest ya read it. Oh, and here's a present:

Idn't he cute?

Okay, a review for ya. We Were Soldiers was pretty good. It was good, gorey, and everything, but it had something else. It didn't paint the enemy as an "axis of evil". The vietnamese soldiers had girlfriends back home too. I like it a lot when movies do that. Unlike Pearl Harbor, where America rules and those dirty Japs are gonna go to hell. Oh, and something else that was good, Sam "We need the HIIIIGH Ground!" Elliot played a gruff Sgt. "Any of you sonsabitches call me Grampa, I'll kill you." So with no further ado, I give it 1½ outta 5 nova heads.

My Geek status has elevated greatly.

I told Monty I wanted to get some stuff moving on the whole LAN party thing. He sent me to get a hub outta his class. Alright, 16 port hub, check. Then we decided we need to buy a spool of cat5 and ends and then Devin and Chris can crimp some ends and we got networking cable. He then said I should go to the office and get a Property Use form for the school. He said that if they ask, say its for Computer Club, which I assume is the club we are forming for this whole thing. Then, I'm going over the form with Monty, figuring out what I need to put down for everything. Then we get to the person applying for use section, or whatever, he says, "Put your name there, you're now President of Computer Club."

Well, I be. I'm not in any school activities until now, and its President of Computer Club.

Meh, it could be worse, it could be Chess Club.

Hmm.

I'm starting to learn PERL and CGI from a kid at school for Web class. Monty wants to incorporate a cgi script type thingy into the school front page. The kid I'm learning from could prolly hook up the script in no time, but what's the fun in that. I got my fruity javascipt links all situmawated in the new front page design and worked with monty on getting the new design up since the kid who made it left at semester. Check it here, if your nasty.

I recently decided I want to get that Cowboy Bebop Perfect Sessions Box Set on DvD, but it's pricey. The cheapest I've seen it for is like $139.99. If any of you peeps have seen it for cheaper, drop me a line. I didn't completely like Cowboy Bebop the first couple episodes I saw, but now that I've seen more, I like it a lot.

I want to see Blade 2. It looks mmm mmm good.

I got 2 more quick movie reviews for the nice people. Im gonna drop the size down on the nova heads a little. Now that we all know who it is, I'm gonna make it more of a symbol than a statement. Or sumthing.

First up, Black Hawk Down. I just saw this now since it wasn't in the Newport theatre till this week. I liked it. It's gritty and realistic like Saving Private Ryan was. SPR was a little better than this though. SPR wasn't all pro-America when it was displaying its story whereas BHD kinda was. Which I guess it to be expecting after 9-11, but still. I'll give it a 2. It may be a little better than that, but oh well.

Now for Queen of the Damned. It wasn't horrible. It wasn't great. It just was, which is why I'll give it 2.5 outta 5. The movie was about Akasha, queen of all vampires. Well, it wasn't all about Akasha. She was the plot in the background until the end. There were several other little plots and stuff in the middle. Which, since the movie was only an hour and forty minutes, I felt a couple plots were rushed and not explained well enough. Also, the people who made the film must have really liked the wooshy blurred cg effect since they use it all the time. And as a final note, Lestat's famed rock band sounds remarkably like Korn.
