The dvd player arrived today, and it appears to work pretty well. I'm very pleased with my $35 purchase.

I'm working on turning my epsiodes of Naruto into VCD's so I can watch them with Adam and whoever else over on the big screen. I can fit about 3 eps a CD, so with the current 55 episodes out, I've got a lotta MPEG encoding and cd burning to do. I'm gonna check out the first disk I made over there tonight.
