Thursday March 11th 5-close with Al and Schaef
Friday March 12th 9-4 with Donna
Saturday March 13th 9-4 with Donna
I got the computer hardware I ordered, and got it all installed. I'm digging the extra storage and gig of ram. Make-a me happy.
I've been playing Champions of Norrath with Adam. It's your average hack and slash Diablo rip-off game, but its been entertaining. We tried out Baulder's gate: Dark Alliance 2 also, but Champions seems to be a little more challenging and a little more enjoyable. Granted, in DA2 a level 1 cleric can cast Cure, on both party members, and a level 1 necromancer can raise undead. Whereas in Champions, Clerics can't even heal themselves until level 8, and Shadow Knights can't raise undead til level 15. But lots of shinies drop off of monsters in Champions, and I'm a sucker for loot.
For a while now, I've been jonesing to get the entire X-men animated series from the 90's on DVD. There's been no official announcement of any sets being published by Fox or anything, so I decided to check out Ebay. There were quite a few different sets of the show available from different bootleggers. I found a set that was 8 dvds, with all 76 episodes of the cartoon. The guy had sold a bunch of them, and all the feedback were comments on the great quality and happiness with purchasing the set. So I went for it, and ordered a set from the guy. It was pricey, but I think it will be worth it.
Speaking of X-men, I was watching some X-men: Evolution at work today. I hate that cartoon, very much. Take the X-men, and stick them all in high school. Make them ride skateboards. Make Nightcrawler have the ability to appear like a normal human (he has to be able to attend his classes and fit in!!111). Make the Brotherhood mutants become the bullies at the school. Make it so the esteemed team of Xavier's have to deal with zany teenage problems, like preparing for the big soccer game, public speaking, and sneaking out past curfew. Ooo, and when Xavier has to leave town, make the kids throw a house party that gets out of control! How totally rad! Blarg.
The Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow game coming out this month has some cool Multiplayer modes. I'm interested in trying some of that out on the PC version when its released.
Thats a little wordier than my posts have been recently. I should be set for a month now.
